    • "Flavia Tuzza's 'LegalEats, A Lawyer's Lite Cookbook' is a very special cookbook collection assembled and presented specifically for the legal community by combining 'legalese' to describe the recipes and featuring lawyer cartoons and quotes throughout. From Lawyer's Linguine with Tomatoes and Shrimp; Wild Witness Rice Soup; Legal Lasagna; and Plaintiff's Pita Chips; to Attorney's Apple Pie; Licensee's Lemon Muffins; Libelously Light Pumpkin Cheesecake; and Superior Stuffed Mushrooms, 'LegalEats, A Lawyer's Lite Cookbook' is as much fun to browse through as it is to plan meals with. A "must" for any lawyer with a demanding palate and vested interest appetite. 'LegalEats, A Lawyer's Lite Cookbook' is a fun gift and welcome kitchen shelf addition."

  • "I Swear To Tell The Truth"
     - A Customer, Atlanta, GA

    • "Even if I wasn't under oath, the truth is that this cookbook is wonderful and unique. The recipes are interesting, easy to follow and don't require too much skill in the kitchen. I've prepared several dishes and amaze myself.....and my husband. I can actually cook...and it tastes fabulous. Plus, it's a fun book to look through while you're waiting for your pasta to boil...and I'm not even a lawyer (but I did date one a long time ago). It is a great book to add to your collection and would make a super gift for one of your lawyer friends. I'm glad that I bought it...and that's the whole truth .... so help me god."

  • "I'm Guilty!!"
     - L.V., Atlanta, GA

    • "I am actually cooking again! I found 'LegalEats' to be fun to read. The recipes were easy to follow and the results were fantastic! I have tried several dishes and found them to be delicious and very easy to prepare, although no one would guess that from the results. The best part is that I felt Not Guilty because of the healthy ingredients and preparation tips. I'm keeping this cookbook on my counter so I can use it regularly!!"

Apparently This Is How You Cook Like A Lawyer

By KATHRYN RUBINO, abovethelaw.com

 Oct 2, 2015

I know you don’t have enough time to cook. Seamless is your very best friend, the most stable relationship you can currently claim. Eighty percent of the time you eat at your desk as you wait for a partner to turn a draft around. Your kitchen’s sole purpose is a coffee making station, and the Kitchen Aid mixer you lusted after goes tragically underused.

But somewhere, maybe in the way back part of your brain, you long to be masterful in the culinary arts. You want to be the person who can whip up an artisanal brunch for 12 of your nearest and dearest. So how are you going to get to be that person?

May I suggest LegalEats, A Lawyer’s Lite Cookbook (affiliate link) for aspiring lawyerchefs and lovers of puns. (Or maybe you just have a lawyer on your holiday giftlist.) The offerings are designed for folks trying to combat the effects of a sedentary lifestyle, and proffers a delightful variety of recipes as well as cartoons poking fun at the profession. Among the tasty options are Habeas HummusThe Firm’s Frittata (I like that this also doubles as aninsult), and since a meal is never complete without dessert, Fee Simple Fudge Cake.

Maybe this will inspire you to bust out the knives in a non-homicidal rampage sort of way.
